Privacy and cookies
We are a small studio, not a marketing machine. We only ask for what we need to reply to you, we do not sell your details to anybody, and this page explains exactly what happens to them in plain English.

Onyx Lagree and Co is the Lagree and hot mat Pilates studio behind this website. When we say we or us on this page, we mean the studio, and we are the people responsible for the information you give us.
If you ever want to know what we hold about you, or you want it changed or deleted, email us and a real person will deal with it.
The only information we ask you for on this website is what you type into our enquiry form. That is:
We do not ask for anything sensitive, we do not buy lists, and we do not track you around the internet. Booking a class happens on TeamUp rather than here, so any card details you use go straight to them and never touch this website.
We use what you send us for two things only, and the law asks us to tell you our reason for each:
We will not add you to a mailing list off the back of an enquiry. If we ever start sending a newsletter, we will ask you to opt in first.
We keep enquiry messages for up to 24 months after we last heard from you, then delete them. Website statistics are held by Google for up to 14 months and are not linked to your name. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will.
We do not sell or share your details for marketing. A small number of companies help us run the studio and the website, and they only ever see what they need to:
Some of these companies are based outside the UK, so your information may be handled abroad under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
A cookie is a small file a website leaves in your browser. On your first visit we ask before setting anything optional, and nothing below marked optional is set until you say yes.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| onyx_consent | Onyx Lagree and Co | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so we do not ask again on every page. | 6 months | Essential |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Counts visits and tells us which pages people read, as anonymous statistics. Only set if you accept. | Up to 2 years | Analytics |
| Google Maps | The map on our Contact page is hosted by Google. It stays switched off until you accept cookies or press Show map. | Set by Google | Optional | |
| onyxsid | Onyx Lagree and Co | Keeps our own staff signed in while they edit this website. It is never set for ordinary visitors. | Until the browser closes | Essential |
If you reject optional cookies, everything on this site still works. You simply become invisible in our visitor statistics, which we are completely fine with.
Two other things are worth being straight about. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address when a page loads, and our timetable and booking pages are provided by TeamUp, which sets its own cookies when you use them. Neither is used to advertise to you.
Whatever we hold about you, it is still yours. You can at any time:
Just email us and say what you would like. We will not ask you to explain yourself, and we will reply within one month.
Please tell us first, because most things are a misunderstanding we can put right the same day. If you would rather go elsewhere, you have every right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for this.
You can reach the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is a significant one, we will say so clearly rather than quietly editing it.
We would like to set optional cookies that count visits, so we can see which pages are actually useful. Nothing optional is set unless you accept, and the site works either way. Read more in our privacy policy.
